It’s very cool to the touch and again so soft and dense. I lay with it on me watching tv and it’s definitely a sensory thing, I can’t stop touching it. Best blanket I ever had. The material underneath is very soft as well and keeps you warm. I bought the matching pillow case and it’s equally just as good. In my opinion it’s worth the money if u have it to spend. The softest fur in the world comes from chinchillas, which have fur that is 30 times softer than human hair. Other notably soft furs include those from mink and angora rabbits. So after much consideration, I ordered the FAUX CHINCHILLA fur throw and absolutely love love love it. I actually purchased it as a house warming present for a friend, but somehow ended up receiving two and I kid you not it is the best mistake I ever made next to matrimony.
